The meeting will begin on the evening of Monday, December 9, 2024, and end after lunch on Thursday, December 12. To maximize interactions amongst participants, this meeting is now IN-PERSON only - no virtual attendance is available. Abstracts should contain new and unpublished material. Selection of material for oral and poster presentations will be made by the organizers and session chairs.

Tackling the challenges that are hindering the furtherance of (ICTBISN-25) with workable and modern solutions is the most pressing need of the hour. That is precisely why, every single lecture, presentation, and event that will take place during the (ICTBISN-25) will revolve around the theme of " Traumatic Brain Injury And Sports Neurology"

This course is designed for neurosurgery residents and fellows and will address surgical anatomy, surgical approaches and strategies, and clinical review. It is a full 2-day course designed with intense instruction and discussion for 32 participants. Didactic instruction will feature 3D and digital video microanatomy, recorded surgery, and correlated discussion for cerebrovascular and tumor pathology.

Expert faculty will guide participants through topics in a dynamic didactic and quiz format, with over 400 thought-provoking questions to engage their minds and foster critical thinking. The organizers will also examine advanced psychiatric surgery and the latest evidence-based studies in vascular neurosurgery. Sessions are meticulously curated with up-to-date literature, empowering participants to apply the most current evidence-based medicine to practice

This event will feature a lively, respectful atmosphere, engaging scientists, and clinicians around the topics of brain health in late adulthood featuring didactic presentations and poster sessions led by experts in neuroscience, psychology, and related fields. Specifically, this symposium focuses on current advances in etiology, biomarker assessment, treatment, and prevention of cognitive aging, such as dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

Content will include topics such as: brain medicine and brain heath, the importance of the biopsychosocial formulation, and how to build integrative and collaborative care models within clinical neuroscience programs.

An update on the pathophysiology of the major mood and anxiety disorders will be described including new data on inflammation. The latest data on suicide will be presented including risk factors and strategies for prevention. Treatment of depression, anxiety, and women’s psychiatric disorders will be described.

This workshop emphasizes practical applications of integrative medicine to enhance clinical care and improve patient outcomes and will answer the following questions: What does integrative medicine mean, how does it contribute to whole person health?
