3rd Annual Motown Women Heart Symposium

The course will explore sex and gender-specific issues with a focus on unique features of heart disease in the female population. Cardio obstetrics ailments include heart disease in pregnancy, pulmonary embolism, traditional and non-traditional risk factors for cardiovascular disease in women of all ages, and new horizons in the diagnosis and management of female-specific cardiovascular disease.
